This project was for the make-up and effects school Make-up Effects Group Masterclasses. I had worked with the owners on previous projects, so when they needed help getting more students in the door, they tasked me to re-invent their online presence.

The project included Website Design, Copywrite, Pamphlets that were used in an email campaign and the creation of social media identities.

There existing website was cluttered and at times visually unappealing, so my aim was to clean up the site and it’s navigation, expand their 2 page website into 5 pages so that content was better delivered and provide a gallery/portfolio of their work.

I wanted to use their already existing branding as it was well known in the Film industry, so I used their corporate green colour and their corporate font “Bank Gothic”. I then mixed it in with new elements that would further their brand image. The heading of the website was made so that there was a clear distinction from their other site which is for their Film Effects company.

When creating the copy for the site, I used phrases that would evoke a response that could only be positive and thus raising the amounts of enquiries made.

The business is now filling their enrolments with ease and have increased their business by at least 100%.
